Kavitha Excel, located in Alappuzha, Kerala, stands as a distinguished institution in the realm of technical and vocational education. Established in 1975 and permanently affiliated with NCVET, Government of India, and recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala, Kavitha Excel has been a pioneer in the district. Originally registered as a proprietorship in 2001, it transitioned to a partnership firm in November 2019. The institution’s primary campus is strategically situated west of the YMCA on Marthoma Church Road, featuring two multi-storied buildings housing 20 classrooms dedicated to skill training and advanced workshops for various trades such as automobile, electrical, A/C and refrigeration, welding, and IT labs.
The institute offers a comprehensive array of courses, including but not limited to Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Auto Electrical & Electronics, Welder, A/C & Refrigeration Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. In addition to its primary campus in Alappuzha, Kavitha Excel operates other institutions, namely Kavitha Excel in Cherthala and a skill training center in Kottayam, each equipped with facilities to provide specialized training in similar trades.
Kavitha Excel has a robust history of conducting short-term skill training initiatives in collaboration with various central and state government ministries since 2011. The institute has trained over 10,000 trainees in various trades and an additional 4,500 candidates through short-term programs. Their successful placement record stands at 70%, supported by a dedicated placement cell and a network of local employers who frequently hire graduates.
