Mechanic Diesel

The Mechanic Diesel is a one-year program approved by the National Council Vocational Training (NCVET, Govt. of India). The course covers the operation and management of diesel engines and machinery, and includes both academic and practical classes. After completing the course, students can work in a variety of places, including:

• Assembly line
• Automobile manufacturing
• Engine repair
• Machine operation
• Pump operation

The course covers topics such as:

• Making alignments and adjustments
• Maintaining diesel-powered equipment
• Correcting deficiencies in vehicles
• Studying different types of screws, nuts, studs, and bolts
• Learning about locking devices and where they are used
• Understanding the function of gaskets and how to select materials for them
• Learning about off-hand grinding with sanders, bench and pedestal grinders
• Learning about drill bits
• Learning about soldering and brazing fluxes
